Give Advice and Make Money on E-Notes
Tuesday, May 13, 2008
Enotes, the popular learning resource for students is constantly hiring new contributors to their site. According to the introduction on their editor application, they are looking for contributors to do the following things:
* Answer questions from students and teachers in our Question and Answer areas.
* Moderate and contribute to discussion boards.
* Contribute original content to our study guides and lesson plans.
They don't state how much they pay on the website. I have used the question and answer section for research a few times in the past. I have been given good advice from the contributors and every contributor was professional and thorough in their responses. Therefore, I assume that they are comfortable in what they are making if they are putting so much time into their responses. (More pay usually equals better service, right?)
For everyone who loves academics and enjoys giving advice this is also an opportunity to do something that is fun. They have various topics you can contribute to - literature, science, law, health, and history just to name a few. So you can find the topic you enjoy and give advice in that field.

Publish Your Books Online - For Free
Thursday, January 10, 2008
There is a great little site called Lulu that offers free self-publishing to everyone who signs up. It's similar to Cafepress in that you make your own products on the site and sell them through your online store on Lulu. The difference is that Lulu only deals with books - whether it be novels, text books, art books - even calenders.
When you sell on Lulu it's up to you to get the sales for your books. They don't distribute the books to major stores, they just print them and ship them out when a book is ordered off the site. This service is free to everyone, they just take a percentage of the book's cover price to cover the costs of shipping and printing.
If you want to make money selling your books on Lulu you should probably have a blog or another way to get your name out there. By setting up a blog people can sample your writing and it will give you a platform to promote your book.
If you really want to get your word out there you can take advantage of their marketing services, which includes press release services, advertising, and public relations, but keep in mind that their marketing services cost money and there are many free ways to advertise online.
If you are very serious about your writing and plan on making it your full time job, you should look into traditional publishing before you set up an account on Lulu. However if you want a hassle-free way of getting your word out there without the costs of traditional publishing, Lulu is probably the way to go.

5 Ways to Make Money With PLR Articles
Monday, October 29, 2007
PLR stands for "private label rights." When you buy a PLR article you usually will have full permission to use the article on your website, claim ownership of it, modify it, and sell it. PLR articles usually come in packages based on various keywords, e.g. 15 articles on e-bay marketing.
You can buy and sell PLR articles on e-bay or various webmaster forums such as Digital Point. Here are 5 ways you can make money with PLR articles.
1. Run a PLR Site Many ghostwriters have found success by running their own sites with a database of PLR articles. These sites usually have hundreds or thousands of PLR articles that can only be accessed with a membership fee. The most successful PLR sites will update their database weekly with new articles, and take the most downloaded articles off the site, so that the content is always fresh. Most PLR sites have a membership limit so that the articles aren't on thousands of sites across the internet. Some are so popular that they have waiting lists that are backed for months.
2. Re-write Articles You can re-write free PLR articles online and sell them on ebay or Digital Point. Selling original re-writes of PLR articles makes them more valuable because buyers don't run the risk of having duplicate content online. If you want to do this it's best to just sell the articles to one person without resell rights. Selling the articles to one buyer will allow you raise the price because they will be buying unique, original content that only they will own. The only difference between re-writing a PLR article and writing your own article is re-writing an article will probably save you time and energy.
3. Buy and Sell Article Packs This is probably one of the hardest things to do because there is a lot of competition. When you buy an article pack, everyone who owns the article pack already has the opportunity to sell it. The people who buy the pack from them will also have the opportunity to sell it, and so on and so forth. Before you know it there can be 1,000's of people online selling the same article pack. If you want to put your internet marketing skills to the test then this is the right thing for you.
4. Publish PLR Articles on a Blog Blogging can be profitable but it also can be time-consuming and costly. Some people opt to use PLR articles on their blogs and websites instead of hiring a writer or spending hours writing their own articles. The chance of owning a successful blog is unlikely if all of the articles are duplicate content. If you are thinking about doing this, try to mix original articles with PLR articles, and re-write some of the PLR articles. The Problem With Automated Content explains the importance of keeping the content on your site unique.
5. Use Free Articles as an Incentive Some webmasters give away free PLR articles as a bonus when you buy an e-book, subscription, or other products and services. This is one of the cheapest ways to give customers an extra incentive to buy your products. It can also make a decent gift for people who are subscribing to a newsletter or RSS feed.
If you are interested in free PLR articles, Get a Script has 6,500 articles which are free to use and redistribute. My favorite thing about the site is that you don't have to sign up or give your e-mail to download the articles.
If you are in the market to buy articles, the post Where to find good PLR articles lists dozens of PLR article sites online.
It's easy to make money online if you barter goods or services in exchange for cold hard cash. Get out a math work sheet to see if you're making enough money for the time you're investing. If you need help with math and numbers to see if you're breaking even, there are plenty of calculators and resources online to help you out.

Write Product Reviews for Money
Monday, October 22, 2007
There is a website that will pay you $2 for every product review you create. Shared Reviews is a social media site where people share their reviews of company products. All you have to do is write a review with 750 characters and if it's approved you automatically get credited $2.
The great thing about this site is the product reviews don't have to go on your blog or website. In other words, it's not just a link sale like Pay Per Post. This is more geared toward making useful content for the site - which will help visitors who are looking for real reviews on products and services.
This is what the website is about:
We're changing the landscape of review-research by framing customizable, media-rich reviews, with meaningful profile data.
This adds the necessary clarity for users to be able to make informed decisions by not only reading the review, but also learning more about the person who wrote it.
If you enter my referral name "Crystalcash1" you get a free referral credit in your account - in other words you get $2 to start. You can cash out after your account hits $10.

How to Write a Successful Ebook
Monday, October 8, 2007
Find your topic
So you want to write an ebook, but you don't know what to write about. Before you do anything else you should think about your hobbies and interests. Writing about something you enjoy will make writing, researching, and promoting your topic much easier.
If you still haven't though thought of anything, you can go to Amazon and check out their best seller list. Although they are "real" books they still reflect what people are interested in reading. You can also go to forums and google groups to see what most people are talking about.
The easiest way to write a successful ebook is to find a gap in the market and write about it. If there is a topic that most people are talking about but there aren't many blogs or ebooks dedicated to the subject, your ebook will have a good chance of success if it answers peoples questions.
Make your ebook easy to read and understand
Once you know what you are going to write about you have to present the information in a way that is easy to read and understand. People have a lower attention span on the internet than they have when reading a book in print. It's also a strain on the eyes to read a book on the computer. You should keep both of these in mind when writing your ebook. Here are a few ways to make your ebook easy to read:
- Break your book up into different chapters, then break the chapters down into smaller sub-topics. This will make it easy for the reader to find the information they are looking for. It will also make it easier for the reader to pick up where they left off. Any information that doesn't directly relate to the chapter should be put into its own chapter or left out of the book.
- Use short sentences and small paragraphs. Each paragraph should have a specific point to make that is clearly stated in the beginning.
- Highlight your most important points by making them bold.
- Read your e-book over when you are finished writing it and take out any unnecessary information. Every sentence should have new information to offer.
Make an eye-catching title
A good title goes a long way. The title is a buyer's first impression about how useful and entertaining the ebook will be. The title should detail what the book is going to be about while grabbing the reader's attention. Which one would you rather buy?
"Learn how to make money online."
Or
"Lazy kid makes $100 an hour without wife or girlfriend!" [Link]
Both of these are essentially the same title, but the first one is completely non-descript and boring. You know it'll show you how to make money online, but it doesn't tell you how much you can make or what you have to do. Most people won't pay money for an ebook without first knowing what they are buying.
The second one gives you an idea of how much you can make, and the word "lazy kid" gives you a hint that the work will be easy. Who doesn't want to make $100 an hour doing nothing? Of course you shouldn't make a claim like that unless your book delivers. The example comes from a popular ebook sold on ebay, the book sells for $9.95 and has sold hundreds of copies.
Writing a good ebook is a great way to earn some extra cash. You can hook up your savings accounts to your site so that all incoming money goes straight to the bank! You can also use the money to pay off your bad credit credit cards or even fill out one of those credit card offers you've been contemplating.

10 Funnest Ways to Make Money Online
Saturday, September 29, 2007
1. Blogging
Blogging is one of the best ways to make money online because you are part of a community. If you're good at what you do you can gain credibility and be recognized for your blogging across the internet. For instance, you probably recognize the picture above and the blog associated with it.
Along with gaining credibility there is also the potential to make a lot of money. Peter Cashmore, founder of Mashable, is reported to make $166,000 a month, all from the one blog.
If you are new to blogging and interested in making money you should check out the blogs Shoemoney and Problogger. These blogs have a lot of tips for beginners on how to make money and get traffic.
2. Create Your own Second Life Store
I'll admit it, I'm a recovering Second Life addict. Second Life can be a lot of fun, it will make you want to spend hours there. If you haven't heard of Second Life, its a virtual game where people can do pretty much everything they do in real life, including shop, which there is a lot of.
According to the SL website, there has been $1,265,653 USD spent on Second Life in the past 24 hours. This money is spent on virtual clothes, cars, even guns, which individual shop owners make and sell. There's less risk here then owning your own real-life business, but it can be just as fruitful and a lot of fun. [Read More]
3. Share Your Videos
There are sites that will pay you a share of their profits to share your videos on their website. A good video has the potential to earn you thousands of dollars - just think about how much Chris Crocker would have made if his videos were on a profit-sharing website. The videos don't have to be professionally done, just look at most of the videos on Youtube. People actually prefer amateur videos. If you like being in the spotlight this can be one of the funnest ways to make money online.
4. Share Your Pictures
Sharing pictures online is something people do every day - why not get paid for it? There are dozens of sites that are offering a revenue share for the page views that your pictures get. If you spend time on Flickr you should consider opening an account on a profit-sharing photo site. You can still have your pictures on both sites while making money on one.
A great thing about making money on these sites is that it can be a passive income. You can put your pictures up on a site, and as long as they get page views you will make money, even if you don't return for months. Some of the picture-sharing sites are pretty fun and will have you wanting to return, though.
5. Try Your Luck on Moola
Moola is an internet game site like no other. They give you a penny when you sign up that you can double by playing a game against another player. You keep doubling your money every time you win a game. You can cash out after you win $10, or you can play for the grand prize of $1,000,000. Its free to try and its super addicting.
6. Network With Friends
Since revenue-sharing sites have blown up this year, there are now a handful of sites that will pay you to do the same thing you do on Myspace. The most popular one is Dada - which pays you to chat, upload your pictures, and refer your friends.
If Dada's not for you, you should check out Mylot, Gather, and Squidoo. With so many options there's bound to be one that you will enjoy.
7. Play Guitar
You can earn extra cash by uploading your videos on Guitarvids.net. You can put up videos of you and your band, or make guitar instruction videos. Whatever you do this is probably one of the easiest and funnest ways to make money online if you're a guitar player. [Read More]
8. Design T-Shirts
Getting paid for your original designs is probably one of the most rewarding ways to make a living. There are three major websites that you can sell your t-shirt designs through for free. You can also sell your designs on aprons, calenders, and bumper stickers. If you love to design clothes and merchandise but hate sales, consider entering a t-shirt design contest instead.
9. Post on Forums
Posting on forums is one of the fastest and easiest ways to make money online. Granted, the pay isn't that great, but it may pay your water bill, and you'll have fun while doing it.
Check out my post where I review paying forums, or you can learn how to become a full-time forum writer.
10. Give Advice
If you are knowledgeable in any area there are places online where you can give advice to people who need it. There are few things that are funner than giving your opinions on topics you care about - and you don't need an advanced degree to do it. You can give dating advice, tips on gardening, even gift-giving suggestions. You can get paid an hourly rate, anywhere from $6-$20 to give advice over the phone, through e-mail, or through web chat. [Read More]
Making money through blogging and other online means is a great way to earn some cash to pay off those credit cards debts. Next time you get one of those offers for cash back credit cards or low interest, high reward business credit card offers, consider using the money you make online to pay them off so you won't be in debt.

How To Make Money With Squidoo
Wednesday, September 26, 2007

Squidoo is a fairly new site that allows you to make money by promoting your website and affiliate links. Its similar to a social networking site in that you can network with other people trying to sell their product and make money online. However, its not like Myspace or Facebook. Squidoo is comprised mainly of articles and is more focused around business and sales.
When you sign up for Squidoo you are asked to create your first lens. A lens is basically a single web page. On the page you can add certain features which are called modules. A module can range from a piece of text to a guest book. They also have E-bay and Amazon.com modules which allow you to promote your products and affiliate links.
The biggest appeal of Squidoo is that the web pages are easily indexed by Google and have been known to get a high page rank over time. This can be something to think about if you're looking for a new way to promote your blog or website. It can also be used to easily sell your products and get refferals.
You can make money with any niche on Squidoo. Take this lens Dating Tips For A Man for example. This article is entertaining and has a lot of good advice. It also has many Amazon affiliate links which blend into the layout. The writer has categorized the Amazon books based on the type of advice you are looking for. The first Amazon module is "Great Stuff on Amazon," then there are books to "Learn to tell if she's lying," and "If you want her back you may have to learn forgiveness," etc. This is a clever way to promote your links without having a hard-driving sales pitch.
One of the easiest ways to gain popularity on Squidoo is to pick keywords that aren't too competitive. You need to find phrases that have high demand and low supply. To find the demand for a keyword phrase you can go to wordtracker.com and use their keyword tools. This will help you get organic traffic through Google search results and give your lens a better ranking.
If you are interested in internet marketing, and don't want to pay for advertising, you should check out Squidoo.

Get Paid To Write Term Papers & Essays
Tuesday, August 28, 2007
If you like to write essays and term papers, you can make good money online. There are sites that sell custom term papers to students. If you can write well-written term papers you can earn up to $25 per term paper. To become a writer on academia-research you have to first fill out a registration form. After you fill out the form they will send you a test essay that you will be asked to complete in a couple of days. If they like the essay your account will be activated and you will begin to receive essays to write.
They pay between $6-$20 per essay. Payment is made with E-Gold, PayPal, Wire Transfer, or Western Union. Payment is made twice a month.Submitting an essay to Gradesaver is very easy. You simply create an account and you can automatically submit your essay. If they accept your essays they will pay $25 per essay.
Works that you submit through gradesaver become property of the site. You cannot reproduce the essays for other sites. The great thing about this site is that they pay a flat fee so that you don't have to do any guess work about how much you will make.Shvoong is a lot different than the other essay sites. Since the essays are free you don't receive money for submitting your essays. Instead you get a revenue share of the ads that are clicked on your essay page. You probably won't make as much money this way as you would on other sites. One good thing about the revenue-share program is that you will continually make money as long as your essays stay on the website. Even if it's only pennies a day you can still be making money in years.
How can you make money off all those old term papers? Sell them. Whether you're just trying to make money for college or want to start saving up some money for retirement, there are plenty of ways to earn some extra cash online.

Get Paid To Post In Forums II
Sunday, August 19, 2007
I wrote a post last month about forums that pay you to post. After writing it I was intrigued to find more forums that pay. So far I have found two more forums that are noteworthy which I have been spending a lot of time on.
CraZoo pays .02 for a new thread and .015 per post. They also pay you .002 every time your referrals post. They have 2,945 active members and over 8,000 threads. The forum topics are general: sports, movies, technology, etc. The minimum payout is $10.00.
Adept Web Community is new but its one of my favorite forums to post on. They only started last month but they already have 178 members. The amount you get paid per post isn't clear, but it seems to average around .03. So far I have made 16 posts and I have .54. Their minimum payout is only $3.00, via pay pal.
After signing up on Adept Web Community you have to go to your user control panel, click "group memberships" and add the group "paid users" to get paid for your posts.
Don't expect to make a fortune doing this. It can be more time consuming than it seems, but it's still a fun way to earn a few extra bucks.

Thursday, August 16, 2007
You can answer simple questions online for money at just answer. People who are looking for answers will place a bid of the amount of money they are willing to pay. You make 50-70% of the bid if you answer the question correctly.
Most of the bids are around $9+, so from what I can see this is a quick way to earn some extra cash.
Here is a list of the most recent questions and answers.
They are looking for people who are knowledgeable in specific fields. If you have one specific area of knowledge you can apply here and become an expert on the site.

Make Money Writing on Newsvine
Friday, August 10, 2007
Newsvine is a user-generated-content site with news stories and product reviews. As a writer on Newsvine you are given your own "column" with a domain (i.e. yourname.newsvine.com). You can write about anything you consider newsworthy.
Writers get 90% of the ad revenue from ads displayed on their pages. The ads displayed are banner ads, therefore the more traffic you generate to your articles the more money you will make.
Newsvine is a great site to be a part of because it's one of the most personalized news sites on the internet.
Users can vote and comment on each article. An article that receives the most votes is shown on the "featured articles" section for that day. This is a great way to be rewarded for writing a good article because the more votes you receive the more exposure your article will get.
There are even more ways to receive exposure for your writing. Newsvine has a friends list option that can help you network with other writers. When you add a friend they will have the option to add you back. If they do, they will be notified every time you post new articles. There is also an option to put a chat room on your article instead of a comment option. This can be a creative way to drive more readers to your articles.
Once you become a writer on Newsvine you can post full articles, polls, or seeds. "Seeding" is posting a link to another website with a quotation or short description of the site. You also earn ad revenue from seeding and polls.
All-in-all, this seems like a great way to make money by writing. The promotion tools are limitless on this site and the ad revenue is very high. This is they type of site I could spend a lot of time on, not just for the money.
If you are interested in finding similar sites to Newsvine I have an article Easy Freelance Writing with links to more user-generated-content news sites.

Get Paid To Be An Online Juror
Thursday, August 9, 2007
You can become an online juror and get paid for each case that you review. Some lawyers will pay money to have an online mock trial so they can prepare for a case. All you have to do is read a script with the facts and perspectives of each party. Then you answer a few questions about the trial and your done. It's somewhat similar to an online survey.
You have to be over 18 and have never been convicted of a felony to apply for these sites.
Ejury pays $5-$10 depending on the length of the case. There is no minimum payout and the payments are made via paypal. According to their FAQ the average time spent on each case is 35 minutes.
Here is a sample case you will see on Ejury.
Online Verdict pays $20-$60 per case. The cases take anywhere from 20-60 minutes. You can choose which cases you want to review and you get notified via e-mail when new cases arrive.
This is an interesting way to make money. Although I compared it to filling out online surveys it seems like a much funner way to make money, and it pays better.

Amazon Mechanical Turk
Saturday, August 4, 2007
Amazon's Mechanical Turk is a place where web developers list odd-jobs that they need done, along with the price they are willing to pay. Most of the tasks are really easy, such as finding a title for an article or finding the best picture for a product. You can sign up for free and do the tasks immediately. The pay is pretty low, but the work is easy. Most of the tasks (called "HITS") range from 2.00-.01. Here are a few examples of what a HIT would look like:
Transcribe a 15-minute podcast ($1.50 + bonus)
Answer a single demographic question (.02)
Give a 100-word review of the movie 300 (.20)
If you see a HIT you would like to take, you can accept the HIT immediately. You complete it on the site without having to log-on to a third-party site, unless that's part of the task.
I signed up with Amazon Mechanical Turk a few months ago. I have taken 90 HITS and made 3.10 so far. Most of the HITS were worth .01 but only took me about five seconds to do. I usually log-on while I am waiting for class to start.
Obviously this isn't a get-rich-quick scheme. It would be pretty hard to make above minimum wage by working on this site. There are good things about working on MTurk which make the site noteworthy, though. Here are a few:
- It's run by a trustworthy company (Amazon)
- There are always HITS available
- You only take the HITS that you want to do
- The tasks are generally easy
- The minimum pay-out is low ($10)
- Most of the HITS don't have any special requirements

Become a Hired Forum Writer
Thursday, August 2, 2007
Forumshock.com is looking for new forum writers for their site. They sell posts in bulk to forums looking for a traffic boost. If you become a hired writer, you will be contacted when they have a forum looking for posts. They will ask you to write between 20-70 posts on the forum at .15-.20 a post depending on the quality.
You can apply on their job opportunities page. Not everyone who applies will be contacted for a job. They have a quality standard and they only want people who show good writing skills.
One good thing about Forum Shock is that the packages they sell have a small amount of writers (i.e. 1000 posts, 20 members). That means that instead of signing up to dozens of sites, posting one or two comments on each, you can spend an hour or two on a single site. It's like being paid for being part of a community. It also cuts down significantly on time spent.
Another plus to working for Forum Shock is that they don't hire hundreds of writers. That means you won't have to compete for writing opportunities or wait weeks to finally get an opportunity.
This seems like a great way to make money online. Who doesn't want to be paid to chat online?
If you are interested in more ways to make money posting on forums, please check out my article about getting paid to post on forums.
Writing on a forum is a great way to get college and training money to complete a degree or further your education. While free money may sound dubious, there are plenty of legitimate ways to make money for women entrepreneurs or to pay for college.

Constant Content - Get Paid To Write Articles
Thursday, July 26, 2007
Constant Content is another site where you can get paid to write articles. Web publishers use Constant Content to find articles for their sites and blogs. They pay a fee to use your article on their site.
There are three different ways that the article can be bought: full rights, unique rights, and usage. Full rights articles are usually sold at around $30. Basically the publisher can do whatever they want with the article, including calling it their own. Usage rights sometimes go as low as $10, but they can be resold an unlimited number of times and you receive a byline when it's published. Authors set their own price for each type of use of their articles.
Here is a graph on their site that explains the difference between each:
To start selling your articles you first need to register at their site. Anyone can register as an author, but they have the option of rejecting an article if it is poorly written. They'll usually accept it if there are no major flaws.
Constant Content gets 35% commission on each article that sells. It's important to keep this in mind when pricing your articles.
If you can make money from writing content articles online, then all those writing programs paid off. Getting high marks in your English grammar lessons definitely makes you a good candidate for becoming a content writer. Even if you've received a basic online education in writing, if you've got the time, you should be able to make some money.

Mylot: It's Like Myspace With Money
Wednesday, July 18, 2007
If you spend a lot of time on sites like myspace and facebook, you may be happy to hear that there is a similar site that will pay you to network.
Mylot offers incentives to it's users for taking part in discussions, uploading new pictures, and for referrals. The pay out is pretty small. It averages around 4 cents for a comment and 10 cents for a new topic. The minimum payout is $10, so you could expect to get paid every month by using this site. Although this isn't much money, if you enjoy doing it, it can be worth while.
One thing I like about it is that they have a good hold on spammers. A lot of people who use Mylot seem genuine, not like they are trying to make a quick buck. Therefore if you are looking to network and meet new people, using Mylot can be a way to do it while getting paid. They are ranked 6,000 on Alexa, which means that there is usually a lot going on and a lot of members online. They currently have over 100,000 members.
The downside is that their lay-out is bad. It's hard to navigate and it looks disorganized.
Here is a screenshot of their discussion page:
I wouldn't go to Mylot expecting a second income, but if you are looking for a way to network while earning a little extra on the side, I would definitely recommend it.
Trying to make good money is not as hard as it seems. Many people are able to put extra money into their savings accounts while still being able to pay off their bad credit credit cards. Many people don't realize that, much like airline credit cards, some sites will reward you for doing what you already do!

If you have a webcam and knowledge in any field, you can make money giving advice online. Giving good advice is a great way to make money, especially if it's about something complicated like credit card offers or finances. Many people have questions on, say, the validity of low interest credit card offers or how effective student credit cards are for young people.
Here are a few sites that are looking for help:
Kasamba
As an expert on Kasamba, you set a rate per minute for your live advice. When someone needs your services they give you a message and you set up a time to talk. They can choose to talk to you either through e-mail or webcam chat.
While looking through the site I saw a profile of an expert who charges $20 per minute. She had 240 ratings, which means that at least 240 people payed her $20 a minute for advice. Obviously there is money making potential in this.
Jyve
Jyve is also a site where you charge an hourly rate to give advice. The difference is that you get customers by answering questions in a chat room. If some one likes your advice, they can tip you or start a private session with you. When you enter a private session you begin to earn the hourly rate that you set.
Ingenio
You can list your services on Ingenio including your expertise, training, and the rate-per-minute that you charge. The difference with Ingenio is that it connects you with people who are looking for advice over the phone. Although this isn't an online opportunity, I think it is worth listing because it is something that you can do at home with the same relative ease as working on a computer.
Don't be discouraged from applying if you don't have an advanced degree. There are many things you can give advice about that don't require college degrees. For example:
Dating
Gardening
Collecting
Travel
Astrology
Numerology
Gift giving
and more.
So try it out, you might surprise yourself.

Get Paid to Post In Forums
Friday, July 6, 2007
I've been hearing a lot about forums that pay you to post lately. I did some research on various blogs and I see two forums getting good reviews. The first one, digital point forums, is good because it's been around for a long time and has many active members (#142 on Alexa). You get paid when you open a new topic and someone clicks on the ads on that page.
Here is a FAQ on their revenue sharing:

MoneyTalkPro is another forum that pays to post. They work on a point system - 4 points for each regular post and 10 points for promotional posts. Every point is worth $.005 each. Obviously you're going to need some dedication to make it work. I'm going to give the boards a try and i'll let you know how it works.

A word of advice: Just because these sites pay doesn't mean they pay good. I would only post in these forums if I were looking to post in a forum anyway, but I wouldn't go to these forums with the goal of having a second income. If you tried hard enough you might be able to make $2-$3 an hour, but you would have to work like crazy. A good idea might be to think of a good conversation starter and begin a new thread instead of posting like a madman.
