Constant Content - Get Paid To Write Articles
Constant Content is another site where you can get paid to write articles. Web publishers use Constant Content to find articles for their sites and blogs. They pay a fee to use your article on their site.
There are three different ways that the article can be bought: full rights, unique rights, and usage. Full rights articles are usually sold at around $30. Basically the publisher can do whatever they want with the article, including calling it their own. Usage rights sometimes go as low as $10, but they can be resold an unlimited number of times and you receive a byline when it's published. Authors set their own price for each type of use of their articles.
Here is a graph on their site that explains the difference between each:
To start selling your articles you first need to register at their site. Anyone can register as an author, but they have the option of rejecting an article if it is poorly written. They'll usually accept it if there are no major flaws.
Constant Content gets 35% commission on each article that sells. It's important to keep this in mind when pricing your articles.

Crystal, i read constantcontentdotcom for 5 or 10 minutes and when i saw the articles listed there, i was skeptical about the articles there for sale. I mean most of the articles they are for free in some other part of net. So, why are they charging? may be my answers were there but i felt that way. Today, we can read articles for free. This concept can't sustain for long unless there are some people who wants to shellout their money for things like this.
crystal, i liked your other post. keep it up.
Thanks for your comment. I wouldn't pay $20 for an article, but there apparently are people out there who would.
I was browsing through the site and I saw a profile of one writer who had sold over 1,400 articles. Most of them were priced between $10-$40. Most people have sold 15-100 articles, though, which isn't that bad for a freelance job.
These services are the ones who benefit, not the authors. They are basically pimpin' you to do all the hard work for them. They know people will think, "If I can only write 1,000 articles, I'll make $50! Cool!"
And if you buy an article, does the author get any credit, or just a check? My eyes are opening lately to the 'opportunities' found on the internet.

If the article is bought for usage or unique rights, then yes, the author gets credit. When the article is full-rights they may or may not get credit depending on the publisher.
You can set your own price for each, so if you don't like the idea of full rights you can probably set the price to like, $150
The only thing about making money online that scares me, is that you have to pay a percentage in order to receive anything. I totally agree about- 'if you want to make money you have to invest'----if you're going into business---but what about people who just want to seek a home-based career without investing $$$?
You know what I'm amazed by? People who ask questions that were answered in the post(e.g., "And if you buy an article, does the author get any credit, or just a check?"). You were far more merciful than I would have been, Crystal. READ, people. Second, there is NO making money on the Internet without investing one of two things: more money or LOTS OF TIME (as in, the amount of time a full-time job requires). The Internet and the "real world" are the same place, and in the end, they work the same. Get over it.
Deb: They only take the percentage out once your article is bought. You don't have to put any money down. For instance, if your article was sold for $100, they would automatically take $35, so you would have $65 credited to you right into your paypal account. The money won't be coming from you; it comes from the person who buys your article.
The Educated Fool: I can understand some people's confusion because there is a lot to consider when trying to making money through a third party site. Every site has their own rules. I appreciate you reading my article (and understanding it), lol. Thanks for your comment.
I just hope everybody understands that you don't have to put any money down on this site. I don't post about sites like that, because they are usually scams.
Very cool. I really like this idea.
Thank you so much for compiling all this info.
Hey thanks for the great information. I have heard of Constant Content, but I didnt really know much about it or how they pay. You have inspired me to consider signing up with Constant Content and submit some of my own work.
